I love this card. It's not particularly great, but I love it. The art and name really embody Lorwyn. Lorwyn is an idyllic place. Red mages there don't send lightning bolts at you. They don't send waves of flame at you. They send ants at you.

Should have a ! in the name just like Kaboom!

The card is a bit underwhelming, if I want reusable burn, I rather use Pulse of the Forge, Hanabi Blast and even Hammer of Bogardan

However the art and the name is very amusing, I request more of these 'release' cards to be made!

Release the Hounds!
Release the Kitties!
Release...Me!

@CaptHanJovi: No. You play the copy, so you'd get the copy back to your hand. However, since it's a copy, it would disappear immediately.

show and tell+omniscience+enter the infinite then put emrakul on the top of your library, then cunning wish this out of the board then proceed to kill your opponent with ants.

This card sees Legacy play

Essentially, the deck Show and Tells an Omniscience into play, then casts Enter the Infinite, drawing your library and putting Emrakul, the Aeons Torn on top of your library. Then, you Cunning Wish for this card out of the sideboard and cast it for free an unlimited number of times to deal infinite damage to your opponent, and unless the opponent is playing Show and Tell with Emrakul, you win (I assume that if you see your opponent is playing Show and Tell as well, you just use plan B: Show and Tell Emrakul into play before they do)

Sure, it's a fringe strategy, mostly used for classiness. It's a lot more efficient to just play Sneak-and-Show Emrakul because you don't waste valuable sideboard slots for an otherwise dead card and you don't waste deck space for Omniscience and Enter the Infinite/autoca... (see all)

Near useless, but I want to buy this card just so I can say "RELEASE THE ANTS!"

I say "RELEASE THE ANTS" when Yavimaya Ants hit the board. This is more like "Turn the faucet a bit so the ants can trickle out."

if anyone is seriously getting use out of this card then your deck must be very taxing... is this really part of your unbeatable gameplay? are you really counting on clash to try and continually get this back for reuse? you're not excited about the little libary action you'll get out of this card are you? I wouldn't mind drafting it at all... other than that I think the most important thing about a card like this is the quirky nature it represents in magic, and even though it may get lucky seeing casual play, it's nice to have so many crazy versions and alternative ways to do what we do best.
