@Forgeling: Two major green places in the plot: Llanowar (Gaea's Cradle) and Yavamaya (this). However there was really only one "major" one in each other colour.

@djbon2112 - Gaea's Cradle is not from Llanowar. It's from the forest of Argoth, which was nuked by Urza.

Agreed with scumbling1...

@Forgeling and TheWrathofShane: this legendary land is a part of a mega-mega-cycle (sic!) of legendary lands, each of them appearing in a different block:
Mirage: Teferi's Isle
Tempest: Volrath's Stronghold
Urza's Saga: Yavimaya Hollow
Mercadian Masques: Kor Haven
Invasion: Keldon Necropolis

This is probably the second best, after the Stronghold...

Any chance this is un-Reserved? FTV: Realms would be pleased with it, I think.

Why did green get two legendary lands when each other colour only got one?

Playing this land is similar to playing Regeneration without paying it's casting cost - except that the regeneration can be performed only once for each time the land is tapped, and the regeneration can be applied to any creature in play. Regeneration enchants one creature and its effect applies to that one creature only.

This card's pretty cool. It's not a staple, but it can be useful. It's better in slower games or in games of larger scale than one-on-one. Uh ... I give it a 2.5 of 5.

Regeneration for free and cannot be countered.

Edit: @scumbling1

If you bother to read the 'type' of this card then you'd know this is a land, thus FREE to put into play and cannot be countered (playing a land in itself cannot be countered). Try not to dispute others so hastily.

I often find myself using this to tap enemy creatures that would otherwise be causing grief.
