Between blue and white, you're probably gonna be playing a bit of control alongside this card, so you can get to seven mana no prob between Wall of Denial and Rhox War monks, etc. Can also use signets to charge up the mana faster.
I know it sounds silly, but it's actually really productive to choose mana producing permanents as a part of your five, unless you already have five killer perms out on the field. If you get this spell off, you're basically accelerating your game by a couple of turns, and in a bant deck, which usually takes its time (unless that ****sucker Rafiq is in play) that can mean victory on your following combat phase.

Not very good. Better than brilliant ultimatum, but coming into play tapped makes this card even worse than it already was.
Also, EnV, Progentius is legendary. Quazlor is correct, stop flaming.

I can see this being rather potent in Blink decks (just not the Commander-compatible varieties). That's up to FIVE EtB effects you just pulled in at once.

Its "choose five permanents you control" meaning 5 different permanents.
And i think u shouldn't search for Progenitus for two reasons:
1. If you have Progenitus in play, you propably are winning without other one, and
2. if you search Progenitus with this, you are stupid because they are legendary and they instantly go to grave.
