This card is absolutely amazing. The only way I could see the kicker being at cheaper is if all creatures got -2/-2.

A bit expensive with the kicker, but often -1/-1 is enough to get the job done...that will kill off all the fast mana critters, River Boas, Plated Geopedes w/o landfall active, and most unboosted goblins.

you wont be slamming that kicker cost when you clean your opponents battlefield of every elf or goblin or whatever token he has in play. This card was slammin' at pre-release.

I have found it rather usefull in slowing down my opponents mana accel when they use birds and cobras. Kicker cost is acceptable to me concidering it usually clears the far side of the board for me

This card is a game winner in draft. In a format where the large majority of creatures are 2/2 or less, Marsh Casualties is a selective Wrath of God in black.

Infest, infest, infest, how has everyone forgotten the beloved Massacre. Hands down my favourite, simply because I have great memories of that card helping me wipe white weenie when playing my black weenie. Good card though, I've been using it to wipe out elves and annoying birds.

This card is awesome, especially when the other person isn't thinking to play around it. It's easily a 1 for 2, and sometimes much better than that. Plus it'll let you get in the attack you need if they were planning on chump blocking.

Massacre Wurm is a better play than this is with the kicker, although this is more flexible.
