If you need Caribou, this is the place to get them. Really makes me want to make a Caribou deck just to say I did.

A kind of white version of breeding pit, fun card, and so flavourfull (you feed the caribou, then eat them).

Caribou tokens make this card. It's not bad otherwise I guess. 3/5

The flavor of the Sacrifice to gain life mechanic implies the user eats the Caribou!
Dire need of life? Fireball for 20 coming at you?! Quick, eat the herd! Onomnomnom.

What's really flaky is that you can only sacrifice Caribou TOKENS according to the original wording, so you can't even sacrifice a Changling to gain an amazing 1 life.

Exile your own non-Caribou creature with Crib Swap, then sac the token to gain 1 life. Synergy!

This card would be so much better if it cost 1 less mana to cast and if it would be unnecessary to tap the enchanted land.
It's a cool concept though and useful in the environment my friend and I play in where we limit the number of uncommons and rares allowed in a deck. (This is nerfed down to uncommon status.)
