Little spiders are a bit creepy, but giant ones are kinda cute. I wonder why?

The cool part is the ability goes off before damage.

I think this card's quite impressive. It's reasonably strong for an early game creature, and can take out ANY creature without flying, including those much stronger and more expensive than it is!

Considering this is an Ice Age creature, I'm surprised it's actually decently priced and doesn't have something like a cumulative upkeep that can only be paid with snow-covered lands.

Actually quite good for a creature in Ice-Age times. A 2/3 beater that can keep you opponents best creature from attacking for 3 is actually not terrible, as many creatures from that time were.

I'm honestly surprised that this card isn't rated higher. It can take out your opponent's fatties (provided they don't have flying) with relative ease. The only thing that holds it back, in my opinion, is its boltable body. Other than that, it's a pretty good card.

4/5

Actually, the do weave webs, just not in the traditional sense. They lay webs out around their 'door' so they can remain hidden and feel when prey pass by. Kind of like trip wires. Their 'door' is also on a web hinge.

So yeah, no reach because they don't make webs in the air. But they do produce it.

I think that you can bounce the spider to your hand, making it so only the attacking creature is removed. That makes this pretty neat, though I'd like it more if it was a 3/3 or had Deathtouch.
