There is absolutely nothing wrong with the card, except that there is nothing very amazing about it either. This card would be stellar if you could shuffle your library as an alternate option, or do anything to change the content and not just the order of your next four.

It has such a surprised look, perhaps the top four cards of the deck were Storm Crows?

With Treasure Hunt, this could actualy by worthy of constructed play. Since no other card in the current standard lets you reorder four cards down, not even Ponder or Halimar Depths can comptete with the Owl's ability to set up a fully controlled Treasure Hunt for four. There exists the potential to pay four mana to draw four cards (sometimes even more, but at that point such occurances are the result of pure luck). Then one is left with the bonus of a handy flying chump blocker. Also, as previously stated by Sir Dwar, the M10 artwork is adorable. A big thank you to Cyril Van Der Haegen.

Sage Owl has always been a great card. I can't say how many of my opponents have groaned at seeing the same sage owl hit the field fifteen times and be bounced again. And the new art is SO CUTE! However, I think the old art seems a bit more sagely- the look the owl is giving the viewer seems to say "I'm smarter than you" or suchlike. 5/5

This has served me for so long now. It's just the kind of card that even when there are newer and better possibilities, you still treasure it in your heart because of the number of times it has helped you out in the past.

This used to be one of my favorite top library manipulation card back in the day.
I'm kinda sad that this was made inferior by Augury Owl.
I also now have cards like Ponder and Preordain, so I don't think I'll be using this anymore. Which is sad :(

This, Unsummon, and Djinn of Wishes and you can conjure up any creature for 4 mana. Pretty sweet deal.

@Alex123321:
If you draw bad cards a lot of the time, your deck isn't very good.

This guy is good. 2 cmc for a 1/1 flier is ok, but looking at the top four cards of your deck AND THEN rearranging them to your liking is definitely worth the 2 mana. Bounce it later on in the game so you can look at the top four again. Sage of Epityr is better, even though it doesn't have flying.
