Play this with Gustha's Scepter and save the cards you need :)

The Mimeoplasm.

Have this and say, Death's Shadow in the yard, and even with no cards in hand, you get 13 cards back when it goes away. If you had cards in hand, you likely dumped fatties for more fodder later, and you get even more cards back. Getting 13+ cards and eating a removal spell sounds like card advantage in my book.

It just had to rotate out of standard the minute flashback came back. Not cool.

One of Mimeoplasm's favorite snacks.

This thing says to you, "You've given me a lot to digest."

@stew1909: is Increasing Savagery good enough for you? +10/+10 and you draw 10 extra cards when it dies sounds like a good deal.
In fact, play it in black/green/blue - Llanowar Reborn, Novijen, Heart of Progress, Shambling Shell, The Mimeoplasm...

First thing I though was how much it would suck to have it stolen and sacced.

Also, Hellbent.

I'm sending mine on a quest to gather some gemblades. And yes, reinforce it with a daily regimen.

Probably would not be happy to see Vampire Hexmage...

A beautiful card.
If they remove it in response to the etb trigger you keep your hand! Beautiful design to allow this.
And if they remove it later via exile, it isnt bound to entering the graveyard to refresh your hand.
Drawbacks being if they take it and sac it, or remove the counters. But he's such a beast for the cmc its worth it in my book.

Gatherer works better in the Companion app!
