@Darkcider: *ba-dum-dum, ts!* =)

I opened one of these from a pack of Chronicles a long time ago and I wasn't impressed. Reflecting on it now, though, I'm sure that I misjudged the card. I tried pulling up a list of cards that allow you to recur *any* card type from your graveyard to your hand, and the list isn't very long:

Elven Cache
Eternal Witness
Nostalgic Dreams
Recollect
Regrowth
Restock
Woodland Guidance

Of these, only two let you target multiple cards, and only one lets you target more than two... more importantly, though, these cards are all green. Recall gives general recursion to a colour that really doesn't have it, and even at such high cost, it seems like a pretty decent effect.

On a different note: the 5th edition version has new art, which is cool... but then th... (see all)

Wow... I can't believe the hate for this card.
There are obviously better reclamation cards (Regrowth, for one),
but this is one of the only options for Mono Blue,
and I can say from experience that Recalling Time Walk, Ancestral Recall,
and/or Timetwister (another underrated Blue reclaimer) can win you the game.

The mana cost isn't so stiff if you're packing Mana Drain ;-)

i'd like it even more if it didn't get exiled after i played it. pretty neat card though--doubters should just read Leshrac_Nightwalker's comment. played your counter spells and am left with a Ponder? Recall!

@ drpvfx

Timetwister is classified as one of the power nine. I would hardly say that's being 'underrated'.

Play intuition, tutor two win conditions, or answers, and recall. You will either get the card you want, or you'll recall it out of your graveyard. This blue duo, forces your opponent to make a tough decision. Late game, this card will help you win. The power is very green and black, so a blue graveyard tutor deserves to be rare. Cards that don't look good at first, but when played, reveal their great potential, are good in my book. 4/5 for sure, 5/5 for EDH.

Seems nice, but the double hurts it a little. I might still play it in the right deck.
By the way I think the text on the card is better worded than the oracle text.
