Wow. Given that duals are most useful early on in the game, I would have thought it's restriction would be the other way around. (CIPT IF you control 2 or fewer)
This is very good.

A less confusing way of reading it might be: "If you control two or less other lands, Blackcleave Cliffs enters the battlefield untapped. Otherwise, it comes into play tapped." An even easier way to read it would be: "This land is useful on your first three turns, then not so much." I like the second one because it's the clearest. To compare it to the cla-ssic dual lands actually makes sense considering many games are won and lost by what occurs during the first few turns.

Plenty of dual lands come into play tapped, and they should, with few restricted exceptions, to make the cards fair. Fair dual lands included the Ravnica lands and M10's. Now here's a third way of having them come into play tapped. With only 3 lands, coming into play tapped would hurt, but the chance to have it come into play not tapped is not bad at all. Not as good as the Ravnica lands such as Steam Vents, but it's nice.

@WhiteyMcFly

I dont think they will go that far.

Yes they are very good, but I think legacy and vintage are going to be sticking with the original duals. The main reason being you can fetch for them, which allows much more freedom when colour fixing

However, I think these lands will see plenty of play in standard, the new extended and lots of casual play

BU - Darkslick Shores

Enemy colored versions of this cycle do not currently exist.

@WhiteyMcFly

This cycle of lands is good but will never see competitive play in legace & vintage because in those formats all possible needs for dual-colored lands are covered by real duals & fetchlands.

Wow...I tried to defend you, MasterOfEtherium, but...it's not just the capitilization, it's the lack of punctuation besides periods...makes you look like a 7 year old who thinks he's cool...and your comment was redundant. That being said...I didn't like the new lands until I played them. Now i want playsets.

I think these dual lands in Scars should have been in enemy colors. Just my opinion.

@Telltalereaper Never defend MasterOfEtherium. EVER. Bad things will happen.

Anyhow, I like this cycle. Watch as the prices on these cards skyrocket as they make it to the top legacy and vintage decks.
