A creature with CMC equal to its p/t is never that bad.
A creature with CMC equal to its p/t with cheap options is good.

3 1/2 at the least.

Yea, it's not bad. Ebony Treefolk from the same set, with a similar casting cost and base p/t is better though, I think.
