I am only afraid of how fragile this card is... that's the problem with powerful auras

Sure, it's a big, tasty target for removal, but put it on something like, say, Archon of the Triumvirate and swing for big on a bit, bulky body that was already going to be attracting removal like flies to honey anyways.

Or just summon that to make them waste their removal and slap this onto a New Prahv Guildmage instead. Your pick.

The disadvantage of the aura is partially offset by the draw additional card on your draw step. However, that only works if it lives that long.

I can see this working well with some of the "wisdom" cards from Kamigawa block, actually. Add some Moonfolk, maybe a Meishin, the Mind Cage...

Library of Leng and Ivory Tower have cleared out a nice space for this card right next to them.

It's like people didn't get the memo. Enchantments aren't bad anymore. You are.

With the advent of Hexproof, there are just much more viable targets for powerful creature enchantments. Short of mass removal or forced sacrifice, the risk for card disadvantage when using auras is so much lower now.

Yes, the risk for card disadvantage is still there but the trade-off is that especially recent auras are generally more aggressively costed. I dare you to find an equipment that provides a power boost on the same level as Gigantiform (including trample) at 5 mana. Or try to find an equipment that gives +4/+4 and flying+first strike while costing only 4 mana total (cast + equip cost) (never mind that Angelic Destiny actually returns to your hand when the enchanted creature dies.)

So yeah, sometimes your opponent will cast Judgment Day or respond with a Volcanic Fallout, when you enchant that Invisib... (see all)

Played this today in Azorius. Unless the creature was removed really quickly, it basically won me each game it was out. One time, my enchanted creature was Arrested, but the dual draw continued to work and I just outran my opponent by drawing threats much faster than him.

Not really Constructed-worthy, though.

This won me practically all my matches on the prerelease when attached to something with evasion. Okay, so its a limited bomb and incredibly fragile in constructed for that cost. Possibly too fragile, but with the likes of Geist of Saint Traft, Drogskol Captain & Invisible Stalker all in standard and in colour

Hmm... I'll have to give it a go in my UB Spirits... partly just because the art is so gorgeous. Oh, and it's really fun :)

Bruna, Light of Alabaster laughs at the ridiculous cost on this thing, then she wears it with pride!
