Why not just unsummon a land? You can play it the next turn. It's not a huge loss. For the choice between three lands, I would have thought they would make it a bit steeper.

works for Invasion block decks. Tap Dream Thrush when a lair comes into play to change it into a basic land before its ability activates.

If you have a basic (or not stall) land in play, tap it for mana, then throw this out to return the tapped one. If it's the same phase, you get the mana for the first land and for this one.
