All those rings are a major flavor and Limited-play home run. So glad to see them instead of the lucky charms.

My personal favourite of the Ring cycle. Since i feel that a trampler gains the most of those 1+/1+ ccounters.

A nice way to give trample for a non-green deck. Loxodon Warhammer and Sword of Vengeance are clearly better, but much more expensive than this Ring. I consider running this with my WB Exalted deck for when my evasions fail. These rings give you the possibility of using effects typically found in a certain color in any color, which is where I think they fit best. The +1/+1 counter ability, however, encourages you to use it with a particular color where they are near worthless aside from that ability. Really, who is making a G deck that would run this over Rancor?

@RedAtrocitus I'm going to run both this and Rancor in my mono-green wolf tribal deck, because, trample is just that valuable. Not to mention the +1/+1 counters making threats a bigger problem.

This whole cycle is great, and with trample, this is one of the best of the set. Fun with Juniper Order Ranger, or for giving trample to something else (say, {G}{W} for Crusader of Odric?)

Interesting to read all the comments on how nobody would run this over rancor, but Simic has a lot more synergy with this ring than rancor, trample is what's important in the end but imagine this on a Master Biomancer, Gyre Sage, or Fathom Mage, and you will begin to see what this card can really do.

The abilities are synergistic which is very nice, but the trample is a little redundant with rancor in the same set. This is a way to give it to non-green creatures though, so that's something. On a green creature, it could be nice having it grow slowly while having trample, but again, compared to rancor this just doesn't seem worth it.
