No, because for this card, you only need to pay as much mana as you have colours available.
I'd rather have this than Suntouched Myr, but the other Sunburst cards actually bring something interesting to the table other than just color = P/T, and there are easier ways to pump something.

2 colorless for a 1/2 isn't bad, plus he's got options. Not exactly a powerhouse but he's not terrible.
2 for a 1/2, 3 for 2/3, 4 for 3/4, 5 for 4/5, 6 for 5/6, 7 for 6/7 - if it was a colorless kicker they just capped at five he'd actually be pretty sweet.

Ninjakraken: You can't spend the colourless mana on the kicker. Using the infinite mana myr trick for that would be utterly pointless.

Functionally very similar to Lunar Avenger, though better at every time you don't have all 5 colors of mana.

Couldn't the rules text be errata'd to "Kicker 5" followed by "Sunburst - For each color of mana used to pay ~'s kicker cost it gets a +1/+1 counter." or somesuch?
