Limited combat trick. This can at worst give you 1 extra turn to live. At best totally turn the tide.

-4/-0 is pretty significant. -4/-0 to everyone is insane.

This has one massive advantage over Fog: You can kill their stuff. I used to run Ego Erasure back in Lorwyn block (although admittedly mainly to hose elf decks), and this could definitely serve a similar role, scoring kills on creatures your opponent thought you wouldn't want to trade for.

A very nice psuedo-fog, or a trick to help kill a problem through creature combat. Was more impressed by this card in the draft than I thought I'd be.

Outlcassing Hydrosurge AND Hysterical Blindness in the same card? DAMN, that's impressive!

Like Chemister's Trick, this is underrated. While its application is more defensive, it can be turned into an offensive trick with Blistercoil Weird AND leave it untapped for blocking.

So much for Hydrosurge.

It's not that Izzet's cards are bad, its that they have too many sorceries and instants. There's no creature base there to help them shine. They HAVE creatures, but not enough to do anything dangerous for very long, and that's just downright sad. After you play everything, you're going to have an empty hand, and then you're going to die.

This could see some play in Limited as a way to better make trades with your opponent or merely for a Fog-esque effect. Either way, I wouldn't devote an actual Constructed deck spot to it as reactionary cards tends not to be very helpful in winning.
