my friend just won an extremely close game with this. I was at 4 life, he was at six; he had been dominating most game but with some copying shenanigans and stuff I had three creatures on the field, a bunch of land, and I had Fire/Ice on the stick. Next turn I was going to make a copy of Fire, copy it twice with izzet guildmage, and win.

Then he cast life. He had seven open lands. Now that was a cool game.

So glad the Golgari have this in their arsenal now.

A split card that seems worth using? Awesome.

These split cards were always silly, but this new art is very much so appreciated.

Also, some may argue that they'd rather have this than Reanimate, possibly for the additional Life effect.

Plays really nicely in my newly christened Jarad EDH deck. Pull back a fatty I just threw, or make a hoard of lands that I can consume for a death blow of some sort.

This is one of the greats. By far the best split card. Both sides have won me matches in my old dredger. Run at every opportunity. 5/5 for sure.

R-Really? A 1-drop that turns my lands into creatures for a turn and a 2-drop Reanimate in one? Okay. I'll bite.

I love this card. If I had a choice to run this or Reanimate It would be this puppy all day. In terms of flexibility alone, it's outrageous to think of all the things one could use this for. Hive Mind, drop this as Life, Massacre Wurm destroy all opponent's lands, deal 2 damage to them for each one and have a 6/6 on the field which can finish the job if it has to. Sure, it's an odd card, but one that really has a good variety of uses.
