I love using Vampiric Dragon because he is ridiculous. A friend of mine refuses to acknowledge his vampire ability because "Vampires don't get stronger from melting people."
All we need now is a Vampiric Dragon and Malfegor rock opera!

Dragons that wear clothes are obviously more sophisticated than the naked ones, and Nicholbolas is reading a goddamn book.

One of the most brilliant ability combos ever.

That is some of the silliest, most disappointing art ever. Who, when confronted with concept of a vampire dragon, envisions THAT? I mean come on, SLEEVES?!

Would work beautifully with Deathbringer Thoctar.

I'd have preferred a vampiric dragon whelp, with the same abilities but beeing 1/1 instead of 5/5 and costing two mana instead.
Beeing compared to other creatures, this guy sucks. 5/5 for eight mana is just too bad, even if it grows and can burninate creatures. It's not unplayable though, and in some black red dragon decks or something you can still add it for fun.

2/5
He's ok, but there are many other great, not to mention better, multi-colored dragons to play with.
