Should have been a "Zombie Wall". I mean, tell me that "blockade" is not a name that a wall would have! Also, the old Wall of Corpses is a wall.

I thought this would be a fun mechanic but then I realized that it would only make a standoff. (Because if you hav a more powerful attacker then you dom't want to sacrifice it to block and you're winning. And if your opponent has a stronger monster then you aren't attacking because your monster will just be blocked.

However this is pretty good in dimir, who has a lot of evasion to bypass the second scenario.

This effect will be useful because of the potential to use it more than using that actually using it. Interesting.

Jealous of other potential mentors, Willy Wonka murdered Charlie's eccentric teacher and added him to the fortifications.

It's too bad Black or BlueBlack couldn't have just gotten a straight up wall.
Black hasn't had an interesting wall in a long time, and I'd like to see just what they could be.
On that note, BlueBlack still doesn't have a single wall...

Really, really awesome. Mortus Strider, Reassembling Skeleton and even Bloodghast can provide suitable sac targets for multiple deathtouch blockings. The toughness isn't great, but against middle-sized creatures this is quite good.

I can't help but see "Corpse Brigade" from Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions every time I look at the name of this card. There's almost no correlation whatsoever, but it brings nostalgia to me in a good way.

Gatherer works better in the Companion app!
