Some Trivia: with the printing of this card, now blue joins white and green as the colours that have 1cmc vanilla 1/2s.
Black almost got there with Hunted Ghoul, though :(.

Sanctuary cat works much better in white(since white generally uses lots of creatures as its win con),but stall is great in blue it can wall or kill every other card with a CMC of 1 in this expansion.

It's rated lower than Sanctuary Cat because there are no motivational posters that say "hang in there!" with a merfolk on them, or videos of baby merfolk falling asleep while they stand, lr merfolk wearing limes as helmets... YET

Why is this rated so much lower than sanctuary cat? Unless I'm forgetting something, merfolk is a more relevant creature type than cat.
