This one's based on the Teumessian Fox, a giant, speedy fox that was prophesied to never be caught. The hound Laelaps, who was prophesied to always catch his prey, was dispatched to kill it. Zeus, perplexed by the paradox, went "screw it" and turned them both to stone.
Meanwhile, Craw Wurm sobs quietly in the corner.

As a fox fan I have to give this 5 stars. Hopefully this and Silverchase Fox will lead to some decent non-thematic Fox deck support, maybe even a GW fox lord like how wolves got Immerwolf. Not that I dislike the Kitsune, but I doubt we'll be seeing the foxfolk outside of Kamigawa unless one becomes a Planeswalker.
