Countermand is a real word. But it totally sounds like a combination of two great counterspells, the original Counterspell and Remand. Too bad it is just some mill.

Also, man, have you ever tried naming a counterspell? They've used up most of the words. Even squelch!

In case you're wondering, Countermand is a real word. It's what happens when your five year old asks for juice, so you pour him juice, and then he says he doesn't want juice, he wants milk, so you dump the juice and pour some milk, then he says he says he doesn't want milk, he wants juice, so you stand in front of the open fridge for five minutes yelling about wasting food, and in the end, nothing has gotten done (the counter) and 7% of your brain is gone (the mill).

No wizards - tacking mill onto the end doesn't make it worth it.

More than reasonably costed since an unconditional hard counter is now priced at 3. Four cards is a good mill size, and combining the two control factors in one is almost always usable.

This is literally everything I hate in a card and then some. I guess it's "a good thing" then that Rewind will always outclass it.

I think this card is somewhat underrated. I like mill effects stapled to things you'd be doing anyway. (See Psychic Strike, Pilfered Plans, Thought Scour). Seems good if you're trying to set up a Consuming Aberration or Scavenging Ooze or some other graveyard combo without wasting slots in your deck on a Tome Scour.

The Evil Discombobulate. Although this effect would have worked better with the word "discombobulate"...

Unplayable in limited, unplayable in mill, this card is so bad it should come prepackaged with matches to set it on fire on sight.

not bad, but Negate, Nullifyand Dissolve outclass it significantly

I lose interest pretty quickly in mill cards that I can't target myself with.
No, I am not countering my own spell in order to right a wrong.
