Even if you're playing black suicide aggro, there are better ways to do things than this! Please consider another creature before you start Lava Axing yourself every time you want to use this...

I like the idea of this card, but I just think it needs to be a little bigger or require less life to morph. I know it's rare compared to this being common but check out Phyrexian Scuta for a playable Zombie that reminds me of this card.

I love zombies, but still, I play him face down, he attacks and is unblocked, and I pay 5 life to deal another 1 damage? No thanks.

Look at it this way- you an get a 3/4 out on turn 3 just by paying a quarter of your life total. Delay getting this guy out any longer than that though and it starts to get pretty bad. Still there's a chance of a mediocre pay off right?
