Rarely does a card let you manipulate creatures by putting dart-throwing viper skeleton heads inside them.

I can see a lot of potential in this card. It's a little slow, but given enough time (something that your basic control deck should have lots of), it completely controls even combat. Fair idea, it just needs something to push it over the edge.

It's obviously a 100% casual card. I guess it's meant for something like... You put a dozen magnet counters on their creatures, and attack with a tolarian entrancer or maybe a pit spawn. Or evil eye of urborg. Or elven warhounds... Don't forget to add something like loxodon warhammer though, since most of these guys like trample a lot.

Talk about requiring a lot of setup. Johnny would do well to get to work on making this card be effective in some manner...

i think this card is great for combat tricks, place a magnet conter on each of ur oponents creatures one at a time, eventually when they attack each other u will be controlling the attackers and blockers, e.g. in response to blockers use voltaic key and this to put a counter on their attacker and their blocker, kill off something really important and draw the hate hehehe. or, put a magnet counter on their really important creature and their big creature and they can't attack with out the risk of loosing their important creature. it all makes sense, fun to play these in moderation but don't depend on them, fun fun fun combat tricks.

lol it'd be funny to see someone actually play a sorcery pump spell on a creature with this in play. omg that'd be dumb. unless... they want you to put a magnet counter on it, urk too many variables in magic, i loves it!

Glissa, the Traitor would work well with this. You could throw in some voltaic key to take out more things each turn. Tidehollow Strix would also work, throw in viridian claws and maybe nemesis mask.

Kusari-Gama would also be a worthwhile addition. No synergy with deathtouch but still an excellent card if you can force them to block.

The idea is alright, but the designers apparently forgot that this card is just a little combat trick after all.

This won't even do anything before you spend 4 mana, and this takes at least two turns.

This could easily have been a 1cc artifact without a Tap activation cost, and even then it would not see much play since this has only such a narrow use that's useless against so many decks.

It doesn't even force your opponent to attack, so the best thing it can do is prevent certain creatures from attacking.
And in that case, you'll do better with Ghostly Prison or Propaganda - especially against aggro decks, in which case this card pretty much won't help you at all.

If you want a certain creature to attack, use something like Alluring Siren, Walking Desecration, Rage Nimbus or Maddening Imp instead.

Lots of rage on this card, but I'll be honest, this is hilarious in multiplayer, since you can sit on the sidelines and be like Cesar in the gladitorial pits, putting magnet counters on creatures, then after attackers are declared, putting more counters out to hilariously decide blockers.

I like the arrow in the art. It's like Adam grabbed the nearest pen after he showed this to his wife and she said, "So he's taking a deep breath?"
