Really doesn't deserve just three (.029) stars, but in a world with Loxodon warhammer I can see why it got its rating. It does beat the warhammer in terms of dollar cost at least.

@ClockworkSwordfish: I guess it was made uncommon simply because it gives a larger boost. There are various "horizontal cycles" of cards where the cards for the early game are common, the ones for the mid-game uncommon and the expensive cards for around seven mana take in the rare slot.
When regarding Vulshok Morningstar as the common-slot part of the cycle, we're missing a rare Vulshok Equipment here, though. Yet you can somewhat look at Kaldra's Sword as the card taking in the rare-slot here.
@Econae: Pricy pricey equip cost? Well, then take a look at Warlord's Axe. Although i admit that i prefer playing various other equipment at that cost instead.

Would've been really, really good in limited. Giving a Grizzly Bears +3/+3 for a 3 equip cost is very, very nice.

Only compared to more-efficient equipment like Loxodon Warhammer does is this card anyone where "average".
Compared to enchantments and instants that boost P/T, this is a 4-star card.
