This is actually pretty good. Artifact creatures are often not as efficient as regular creatures, and fliers almost never are. The drawback is actually pretty positive if you're running Skullclamp (and who isn't?) or modular. Just needs to be played right.

@ Kenny: Yes you can, when a card refers to a card by name (in this case, Rusted Elemental) then it only counts for that said card, and not another copy of that said card. So in this case, you cannot sacrifice THIS "Rusted Elemental" but if you happened to have another, you can Sacrifice that one.

Anything that LIKES to die as an artifact would be good with this deck, just gatta know how to play it. The same thing can be said about Rusted Slasher (
, 4/1 - regenerate by sacrificing a Artifact). I honestly think I will make a Rust deck focusing on Destorying Artifacts and Reeping the Benifits of such... now if only their were more rust cards :(
