Hmmm, It seems like Gerrard's card is somewhat underwhelming. You have to wait 4 turns till you have made up for the 4 cards you don't start with in your opening hand and also, this card is also reducing your hand size down to only 3 cards at a time. What this means is that black hand destruction decks will crush a person who uses this.

um epic fail you have a max hand size of 3 when you play with this card ya drawing cards is so helpfull.

Combined with Spellbook, this could be incredibly useful. But yeah, without a hand size increaser, Gerrard is lame.

He's obviously built for decks that are good at topdecking: low starting hand/handsize,but twice the topdeck chance. You'd have to build a very focused deck to abuse the extra card every turn, but it could be doable.

Or for a deck that needs to be drawing more than one card a turn because of some sort of double-reclaimer card-recycling loop...or just Haunted Crossroads.

Archmage Ascension dot deck.
Still underwhelming.

How typical, Gerrard needs a miracle to actually be effective.

Everything about Gerrard was boring and terrible, so it's only natural that he'd get a boring and terrible avatar card.
