Why does "return Cage of Hands to its owner's hand" make me giggle?

This is what happens when you let your R&D team rewatch Labyrinth over and over.

@Xilinoc - This is a better than Forced Worship, but not quite strictly better. For that it would have to cost the same or less to play. The cost of playing it and then retrieving it is the same in either case, but presumably you're going to play one more time than you return it to your hand.

I would say Prison Term is probably better, but its all relative to the type of deck its going in... Because in a deck with Mesa Enchantress, and Sigil of the Empty Throne, this card is kind of super good

I used to run two of these, and two Pacifism's in a green/white, uber creature, creature-control deck.

When I first put it in my deck I didn't like it cause it sucked mana up. When playing against a ton of blue control/flying decks, I run this. I noticed this causes a massive strategy change with those decks, unlike Pacifism. Normally if my opponent casts a creature spell I pull this off their creature after their attack phase. (Depends though, you want to get it off when it's going to "fake them out" the most)

For example, I have a Kor Aeronaut in play, my opponent has Aven Squire with a Cage of Hands on it. On my opponents turn he plays Razorfoot Griffin. After the combat phase I take Cage of Hands off, at the beginning I of my main phase I put it on the griffin. Sometimes I wait one turn. In the instance that I actually did this playing a casual-built deck tournament, my friend used his new ... (see all)

This card is nice. It's best to drop it on your opponent's creature to force him or her to commit more threats to the board. Then you return the enchantment to your hand and wrath. Viola .. card advantage.

This isn't strictly worse then Shackles. This one stops an untapped Akroma, Angel of Wrath from attacking. Shackles only works on creatures that don't have vigilance, and the cretures need to already be tapped or they can still attack with shackles on it.

This is a good card, very versatile. Sure there are many situations where pacifism is better, but I like being able to switch this from my opponents Leatherback Baloth to thier Terra Stomper.
