Nice with pump spells. Play a giant growth on it and it canturn into a 13/1. Play a might of oaks on it and it's 27/1.

They should make something like this that you can pay 1 life to give it +2/+0, so that if they let it through once, it's over. It worked for Phage.

It would have been so much better as 2/3.
I'd probably play it in a zombie deck if his cost was 2Black only.
Well, he might actually find some use there even at the current cost with cards like Undead Warchief.
A 10/1 sounds like fun. But this still wouldn't make me satisfied because he's still overcosted in general...

Most people give this card too little credit. Not that it is great persay but majinara has the right idea. You let it attack, make sure it is not blocked, then before damage it dealt you throw on some buffs and sink as much life as you are able to into it and in many cases win the game right there.

Unfortunately without a pump spell all you have is a 4/1 for 4 mana that costs you a life each turn =/

At 3 mana this could have been a decent rare though.

Good with equipment, auras, or pump spells that boost toughness. I think it is worthy of three stars come on guys!

Pumping his toughness works for squeezing out extra damage, but abilities like First Strike and/or Lifelink seem even more useful to me.

He'd be far far better at 3 cost allowing for Unearth to pull him out T2, swinging T3 for 6, T4 for 8, T5 for even more.

The problem with this is that you have to play pump spells, which tend to be bad in constructed. Also, the same things could be said of Putrid Leech, which is ridiculously superior.

This would've been nice if it had costed {1} less and required you to pay more life to activate the ability.
