Great combo with cards that power up with cards in your hands. I did 14 damage with Soramaro, First to Dream using this by returning a lot of plains, each of which give him +1/+1, then another +1/+1 for having more cards in my hand.

It has an interesting and quite unusual effect, should be able to find place in decks with armageddon.

More wonderfully weird art. Kamigawa was a refreshing break from the endless list of standard angels, demons, and dragons... Shame about the Sweep mechanic though. For what it did to you, it should have had some broken effect, but instead, you just end up without land. Maybe some awkward Armageddon combo where you save your lands before blowing everything up? ... I thought not.

I always wished they'd return to Kamigawa if only to give these weird creatures actual cards.

Anyway, this has high potential. That one guy getting through could very easily finish you off, especially if it's a double striker.

Sweep. It has to be my least favorite keyword. The card works just fine without needing a keyword stuttering your reading of the spell.
Usually a keyword is something that can be put on a spell to replace text. You can put reminder text on commons and leave more room on more complicated spells. This, on the other hand, adds more text! So what's the point!? *RAGE.*

Ew, someone wants M:TG creatures to "strike a chord with established fantasy archetypes?" In other words, to limit the imagination of artists to derivative crap we've all seen before. No thank you. The best thing about the Magic universe is the bizarre diversity of its creatures.

And anyone who complains that a design looks childish instantly shows their lack of any sense of fun.

Actually, allmighty-abacus, I find the many fascinating spirit designs of the Kamigawa block to be among its greatest charms, and this is one of my favourites! So, speak for yourself if you don't want to see masked toenails on Magic cards in the future.
