This card references the en-kor from Tempest block. Most of the good he does is done cheaper with Nomads en-Kor.

@ asandberge That won't work. Outrider only redirects the next 1 damage, and all combat damage is dealt simultaneously, so you can't activate this ability in the middle of combat damage. i.e. if a runeclaw bear was dealing damage to the outrider, you can activate his ability as many times as you want, but it can only redirect 1 of the two damage. If a Vorstclaw was dealing damage, the Outrider would still take 6.

Now if you blocked a 3/3 with this, and redirected the damage to High Priest of Penance{/autocard would you destroy three nonland permanents or just one?
