When Amulet of Vigor comes out this will enable turn 2 Kills,

Turn 1 Forest: Amulet of Vigor
Turn 2, Tap Forest- Play Fastbond, then play an untapped Simic Growth Chamber returning the forest, then tap the Simic Growth Chamber for 2 mana and then play a Boros Garrison, returning the Growth Chamber, you keep returning in a loop for a cost of 1 life for 2 mana, until you have done it 11times and you have lost 11 life for 22mana at which point you fireball/banefire/disintegrate them to death.

In multiplayer you can do it further with a Dawnglow infusion for more more life to get even more mana, of course you would need different bounce lands but the two above are just examples.

Yay for silly Wizards printing ridiculous cards.

dberry, I think Yawgmoth's Will is next in line to be Power 10. And behind that is Tolarian Academy, Mishra's Workshop, Bazaar of Baghdad, and the cla55ic pick, Library of Alexandria. But Fastbond is great, no doubt about it.

This card can easily increase your deck's fighting potential on the first turn, with a Concordant Crossroads and a low-cost powerhouse, like Vampire Nighthawk.

I've always wanted to kill myself on turn one with a Forest, two bouncelands, and a Fastbond.

@cute-hydra

1. I like the name
2. Why wait for turn 2?
Do exactly like you said, but play fastbond first and use it to play an additional basic land to get the amulet and continue the loop as you stated. It takes up 1 more slot in your hand, so you won't be able to dawnglow infusion + something else, but you will be a turn ahead, and in some cases kill people before they get a turn.

I would sa put this with a Grazing Gladehart and a Zuran Orb. It wouldn't hurt if you added some Terramorphic Expanse for some added life gaining. But that's just me, you know??? Oh, and also forgot, Crucible of Worlds wouldn't be hurt, so...yeah...

Slack, how did you manage to play Crucible of Worlds on the first turn without any power 9?

Edit: Haha that's gross... Thank god for Force of Will.

Fastbond is one of the best cards ever printed. Add Zuran Orb and Crucible of Worlds and you have infinite life and Mana, and add Braingeyser for a first turn win without using any Power9. amazing.

EDIT:

The other guy already mentioned how to do it, but I did have a Sol Ring for this, which speeded up a little bit, but since Sol Ring is restricted in everything it's allowed in, it's hard to get that AND Fastbond in your opening hand, so the Lands work more often, and Sol Ring of course is great.

But anyway, as I said, the other poster already showed how to do this and win a game on turn 0 or 1 without any Power 9 cards.

I built a deck specifically to do this, and it's a type of Vercursion deck that can win on turn 1 without any cards over a certain price. You can of course add the Power 9 to it, which makes it even faster, but not everyone can afford that so I wanted to find a way to win on the first turn without expensive stuff. I did it so I'm proud of that anyway.
