Champion of Lambholt
Opponent has, let's say, 4 creatures. They're 5/5s. Swing with Nacatl War-Pride and the champion (who already has +1/+1 from the original Necatl War-Pride).
4 copies of Necatl War-Pride come into play, so Champion gets 4 +1/+1 counters, meaning the 5/5s can't block your 5 Necatl War-Prides or the 6/6 Champion.

a really cool effect in my opinion, and certainly interesting for some combos, or at least good synergies.
you could for example try to get multiple instances of this card on your side, and/or use this along with cards that give your opponents (little) creatures to negate the drawback, especially if you give your cats trample and/or lifelink.
having an option to sacrifice the tokens for some profit will be useful as well.

It should have been reprinted in Shards of Alara set. They would definitely fit with theme.

@ Dingo777, if they were going to be reprinted, it'd have been in Alara block, since the Nacatl are natives of Jund.

Great creature, a bomb in limited which at uncommon you can get in multiples, and I like it a lot in casual play too. It satisfies me as a Johnny, while remaining a decent attacker which promotes interaction.

@saxophonist: too wierd of a mana cost in a gold block. WotC said so.

I mean name another card in that block that is mono colored and has three mana symbols of the same color.

@a3kitsune: Phosphorescent feast. Though I wish this and ghostfire would have been printed in thier respective blocks.

@ spikesdad:
Nope, playing a giant growth or aura won't help. Same as if you play a clone, the clone won't copy auras or temporarys buffs either. What you can do however is cytoshape the war-pride, after the trigger goes on the stack, before it resolves. Then each token will be a copy of what you cytoshaped the war-pride into.

Hmm... Nice combo with Raksha Golden Cub
If you use something like Rhys the Redeemed or Doubling Season the doubled tokens stick around forever!

Sundial of the Infinite.

Attack, get a bunch of copies in play. Any of the tokens that survive combat will put a triggered ability on the stack at the beginning of the end of turn step.

Activate the Sundial of the Infinite in response to the triggered abilities, causing them to be removed from the stack.

The tokens survive the turn, to make more of themselves next turn, and further turns.
