One of the all-time classically deceptive cards. One has to see it in play before passing any judgement at all on it... GG against weenie decks, as unwieldy as it looks with that (easily-abused, wink wink) discard clause.

Morphling the number one creature in Magic? Hah, that's so last decade. With the obscene power creep from Wizards in the realm of creatures the last couple of years Morphling and Masticore are basically overcosted jank now (okay, and combat damage not on the stack anymore didn't help Morphling either... but it sure isn't even close to the best creature anymore whatever the reason). There's a reason both their prices have plummeted in the last couple of years
That's the mayor reason i quit playing magic cards...it's a shame

i prefer Razormane Masticore for first strike and free 3 damage, but it's very close seeing as this can hit more damage per turn potentially and regen/first strike are both meant to keep the creature alive.
@Edrocks006 training grounds can't reduce to less than {1}. but it's still good combo
