These replaced the Merfolk Looters in my Lorescale Coatl deck, with Elixir of Immortality to bring back all the cards being discarded.

Well, at least bazaar of baghdad doesn't die to all removal in the game.

Card disadvantage, but could work in my reanimator deck.

I am quite fond of him. Firstly, great art and flavor text, but also very very powerful inBlueGreen madness, BlueGreen self-mill or BlueBlack Reanimation. Not only does he fill your graveyard, he sifts through your library as well! A real winner, but not broken. (Like most of the magus cycle)

I love this thing in my reanimator deck. The discard three can be a little expensive and I may end up discarding a land that I might need, but it's worth it to reanimate the Jin-Gitaxias I just discarded.

With a net discard of one, this is pretty amazing. If you've ever played a deck where you've wanted to discard a card or otherwise fill your yard (such as if you were playing Odyssey or Innistrad, or if you've ever played a deck with Putrid Imp or Stinkweed Imp), the fact that you get to draw two extra cards before you use this for flushing your hand every turn is awesome. And all for just {1U}.
