Fog bank dies to shock/disfigure/pyroclasm ect..
This survives nearly all burn spells, can actually prevent 1 toughness creatures from attacking, and does not get trampled over via rancor. Depends on the environment, but this can be much better then fog bank for 
extra.

I think many of you are discounting that 1-power means that *no* weenies will attack. A Wall of Air or similar doesn't discourage any attacking; it just blocks it. This is also much more useful against burn and trample.
Every other option mentioned is either much more susceptible to burn/trample, or is lacking power or flying; which is why this is still a good card. I'd rather not take 2-3 a turn because my wall is 0 power.
