They could have at least made it a 3/3, i mean this is an angel for heaven's sake. The truly bad thing about this card is the atrocious artwork. I'm flabbergasted that art this terrible survived as late as 10th edition.

They should keep the protection reminder text on all cards, because not a lot of people know what it specifically does.

Considering all the other voices were 2/2 fliers with protection form a designated color and were still awesome, then why are people giving good ole voice of all crap? a 2/2 flier for 2w is decent, adding one more w and the OPTION to pick a color is down right ridiculous.
I will say I love the shenanigans I was able to pull off with this card and kiki jiki/splinter twin in my EDH deck. Its surprising how useful a practically unblockable/indestructible flier whenever you need it is awesome.

This card is wonderful! Choose your own colour protection?! It's also really versatile and solid against most big nasties.
4/5 for a reliable creature in many situations.
