At the end of their turn, cast this and slap Progenitus down as hard as you can.
And turn 4) Silence for the win

I agree. Progenitus + this = devastating. a turn 3 Progenitus is possible in more than one way, I see this as the most reliable method.

quicksilver amulet works at the same speed as this, but is reusable and doesn't restrict your colors.
it does however slow you down on the turn before you get to use it.

Progenitus. Autochthon Wurm. Krosan Cloudscraper. Hellkite Overlord. Plated Slagwurm. And with the proper mana acceleration this card can be played as early as turn three.

yes very good card in constructed, especially if you can drop a creature with shroud or protection like progenitus or kalonian behemoth
