If you play right with 4 of these guys on your deck, then you don't need Lightning Bolt

This card can double as a sorcery, instant, and/or a goblin creature. Good card for goblins.

He gets less credit than Gempalm Polluter by many, but his price makes it obvious the huge difference. He's card advantage that is a Goblin (important for Goblin Warchief or Sensation Gorger), he's instant speed, difficult to counter, and can punch someone in a pinch (such as when you need a few points of damage but and they're out of critters)
(That said, they're both very good.)
Cheap cycling allows one to run less lands in a deck as well, which is great for aggro goblins. The faster your deck burns through cards the more likely it is you'll hit lands, the less lands you have the more you'll hit those lands just when you need them. Beautiful.
