I have used Fallowsage. I have not used this. I guess that means I think the former is better...honestly, this guy's just a little too slow...maybe at 3, I'd think twice about him.

He was inspired before it was cool.
Even flavorwise, the inspiration (hehe) behind the functionality seems to be the same:
"Dreams of dark nights to come are said to stir in the minds of scheming hollowsages."
>"Dreams of dark nights to come are said to inspire the minds of scheming hollowsages."
Fittingly, the Springleaf Drum from Lorwyn that's played by Goblins works just as nicely with him
as the Springleaf Drum from Theros that's played by Satyrs does with the like-minded from Born of the Gods.
