Mantle of Leadership makes this guy an absolute beast
Combine with a lure or Invasion Plans or something similar, you can steamroll virtually anything.
As of Nov 7, 2010, the official rules (110.5a) state that a token is owned by the player under whose control it enters the battlefield, so Brand and the like do not work.

Brand still works with this card because the updated rulings say you own the creature but your oppent controls it.

There are a number of ways to take advantage of giving your opponents creatures. Personally I use Suture Priest, Soul Warden, and Blood Seeker.
Just as important, if not more so, is getting rid of the tokens or nullifying their effect. Orim's Prayer, Urza's Armor, Brand (apparently), Silent Arbiter, and Goblin Sharpshooter all do the trick.

This works really well with Circle of Flame in multiplayer.
Throw down a few Blood Seekers or Suture Priests to make things very hard on your opponents.

Back when Alliances was first printed, we were all so excited about Balduvian Barbarians that we missed what a beast this guy is. This + Wild Nacatl + Jötun Grunt is a pretty powerhouse.

This is one of the first cards I've ever seen where rampage actually makes sense, no matter how many of the tokens block him, they cannot kill him, he just gets stronger and stronger, lol

circle of flame keeps them from swinging back. Off color, but pretty close (we love you, boros) is Phyrexian Rebirth. Let them build up creatures with nothing to do but sit there. Then board wipe and have a big nasty creature. Also, the circle stays, perfect for another Rider, should you want to.
