Two words: Amazing synergy. Tezzeret with two Master Transmuters is extremely powerful. And when you have master transmuters and an almost Diabolic Tutor, you win. You don't necessarily even need to use his second ability as long as you have a Sphinx Summoner at your disposal, and if you don't, tutor him into your hand. The only problem with him is his ultimate ability. It's nowhere near as powerful as most of the other planeswalkers' ultimates. Sure it beats out Ajani Goldmane's ultimate, but all of the other ultimates are far better. That being said, being able to untap two master transmuters is pretty ultimate in itself.

Blue is a good color in vintage because the power nine are either blue or artifacts, which happen to work best with blue cards. The same reason tolarian academy is ridiculously broken but gaea's cradle is merely OP.

I believe that for players like me who have built an Esper or blue artifact deck this guy is awesome because untaping artifact flyer's is handy or whatever, "tutoring" your library for artifacts is handy too and turning all your flying artifacts into 5/5 flyers is great!

I agree, great card.
First ability: untap artifact lands or sigils or whatever for at least 2 mana. (like garruk)
Or attack and untap 2 blockers, or improve any artifact tap-combo's...
His third ability can be used the second turn already, just play tezzeret at the right moment and the game is yours!
And the second ability makes this a bomb agains any deck, for 5 mana you get any artifact you can imagine with CMC 4 or less, great for combo's or you can even fetch ornithopter or an artifact-land for 0 loyalty...
Except for garruk I think this is the greatest walker of the 9.
(Elspeth is to slow and Sarkhan to aggro for vintage or legacy)

tezret is good in artifact decks, and i even have one, which is why i want him, however, that is all he is good for, artifacts. Unless your deck is based entirely around artifacts, tezret might as well just be a punching bag for yor opponent. It also makes him hard to put in constructed decks. but, if in an artifact deck, tezret will do you much good. untaping artifacts helps a ton. the tutoring ability isnt that great, to get any good artifacts, he would have to lose a lot. his final ability is very good, it might as well just say, whipe out your opponents defense and finish them. and his last ability is easily playable, turn 2 (3 if you want to keep tezret out there) and you have a massive army to kill your foes. great card, but only for artifact decks.

Or lovet it or hate it!!!, looks like the that it is the way for speak of Tezzerete, not in my case I belived thet he is one of the 3 Better Planeswalkers, because that he gives us tons of possibilityes for playing, what do you need?, I don´t now but if a Artifac can doit, Tezzeter will help you and that is a really good ability, and dont forget tha he just need 5 loyaty couters for doit her best ability...yeah its good!!!.
Of curse he need a deck with a lot of Artifact to be really good but, with all the god artifacs that is'n a big problem.

tezzeret is an interesting planeswalker, but he is far from the strongest. even with his final effect he's not even the coolest planeswalker for artifacts. look to Elspeth knight-Errant, her final effect makes all artifacts you control indestructible, which is much more powerful than just making them 5/5. look for Lithiana, she can bring all your dead artifact creatures, as well as all of your opponent's dead creatures, with her finisher. if you're looking to cripple an opponent solidly, look at Ajani Vengeant's final effect, which kills an opponents summoning power by destroying all the lands they control. or look my favorite planeswalker, Jace, who's final effect can remove as much as 1/3 of an opponent's deck to their graveyard, more than likely getting rid of more than one key card. all in all tezzeret is a decent planeswalker, but he ranks about 6th in usefulness and power.

i have an artifact deck. think about it, a mycosynth lattice with a whole lot of permanents. everything on your side of the field becomes a 5/5 creature-including Tezzeret. Add a Darksteel Forge and everything becomes indestructible, too.

Thanks to a string of very lucky booster pulls, I have a playset of Tezzeret and I'm very happy with that. Possibly my favorite of the Planeswalkers.
