I like this card for two reasons: first, no one from my friends have black deck, and second, that vampire looks sexy :) Of course, with Sorin Markov...

Possibly the weakest vampire in Zendikar. I know it looks good on paper, but in reality it's just a 1/1 critter that does nothing.

It's not a 3/2 for one, it's an early game 1/1, and a late game 3/2 - It's a 3/2 in late game - that's laughable it sucks when it's playing with smaller creatures that could die to Lacerator, and it sucks when it's late game where you could be slinging Malakir Bloodwitches - Guul Draz Vampire just takes up slots for creatures that have deffinate positions in a deck and aren't jack of nothing master of nothing.

I like this card.
I feel that is is the best black common in Zendikar
It has good artwork and is a great mid-game card.
The Lacerator has it's place in the opening, but I wouldn't want four of those down without a Child of Night or Vampire Nighthawk down, but I would want four Guul Draz Vampire's down, and that is the main thing in deck design I find, 'Do I really want four of these down at the same time?'

How is fear and Intimidate different in flavor? They are synonymous.

The flavor behind intimidate is awkward.
They should have at least kept Fear for black creatures, much better flavor.

Vampires are overrated and overmade in this game, just like elves. Wizards needs to beef up some of the lesser known tribes.

Fantastic art and a solid vampire, but I don't see how intimidate is relevant on a monoblack creature. I suppose it's flavorful?
