Works well with Morbid Bloom, Mycoloth, Lord of Extinction, Necrogenesis, etc.
Been trying to make a token-devour BG but I dont have the cards for it :(

A surprisingly useful devour monster, especially when paired with Flourishing Defenses and a Wither focused Green/Black deck.

That would be a negative on the doubling season, as it enter play with the counters in lieu of entering play, devouring, and then receiving the couners.

@krizwizard... It would seem that way, but no. The ruling on that situation is that D-season doubles the number of counters it enters play with as well, which is what made this card so broken with planeswalkers.
