Great card. This is a nice little touch of mana acceleration that works well with other green staples such as Llanowar Elves or Wild Growth. 4.5/5

Ah, Tinder Wall, how I miss thee. Forest-Tinder Wall-Kird Ape-Sol Ring-Black Vise-Mana Vault was a nice first turn.
Nobody ever used it's second ability, though. This card is so ridiculously better than Wall of Wood.

I would love for this to be reprinted. At the very least to have a 'rules reconciliation'. As it was in the 90's it was a given that walls could not attack unless you cast Animate Wall. What I really want is for Tinder Wall to have uncontested synergy with Overgrown Battlement.

My friend used to play this in his r/g deck with kirds and ball lightnings.
Round 1: forest + this
Round 2: sac + ball lightning in my face
Very disturbing... But quite some topdecking early on hehe

Hard for a newb to tell it's good; easy for a vet to think of combos. I'll be using it with Orcish Lumberjack with cards like Frenzied Tilling, Thresher Beast, Mwonvuli Acid-Moss, etc..
Use card disadvantage to fuel card advantage and you have..

Card neutral T2 land destruction control! thing!
This guy and the Lumberjack were made for eachother and they both synergize so so well.
@pigfish, You get 7 mana from that. 1 from mountain, 1 from forest, 2 from the wall, 3 from the jack.

If you play a red/green deck, this a must-have. Sure, you might want Llanowar Elves for basic mana excel, but if you use this, you can easily pull out a 6 CMC card if you play your cards right.
T1: Mountain, Orcish Lumberjack
T2: Forest, tinder wall.
Tap mountain, sac tinder wall, 3 red mana. Cut down forest with Lumberjack, BAM! 6 mana, 3 red, 3 green. 4 cards, too, allowing for 3 card combos, as long as they're cheap.
You could go with a Bloodbraid Elf, cascade into something else, and still have enough for TWO lightning bolts! thats at least 9 damage, turn three. Even more if you cascade into a Titanic Growth, or Be able to replay the combo, with an Eternal Witness!
6 mana turn two is a DANGEROUS thing to contend with, simply put. such a big bang like this early on will END games fast, IF you manage to protect yourself correctly. if you lose your advantage from this, you'll be basically s... (see all)
