At its best, its a 3/2 flyer for 2, nice, very nice indeed.

it flyes,it flyes on my second turn and it`s 3/2 ,now u are in trouble

I wouldn't say its the best in the cycle at all, but its still a great card. The naya hushblade and bant sureblade seem better to me, and grixis grimblade has death touch. Use helm of the ghastlord on the esper stormblade to get a 5/4 flying that draws a card and causes an opponent to discard a card when it damages them.

Actually I believe that five color has better fliers than Esper

Eh. A bit ugly for my tastes. a 3/2 flier for 2 is pretty nice though.

I like how MTG isn't afraid to make the occasional wizard a blatant badass. This guy, for example, clearly flies around cutting people's faces up like it's nobody's business.
