Wow, what a nice card to drop on an Eldrazi Deck. What's that? Eldrazi aren't immune to the Legendary rule?

CaptainM: Clone will be the normal, non-animated, man land. It copies the card and the text on the card, not any current states. The state of the Man land allows you to choose it, but you do not get it as a creature until end of turn.
An example is given in the 7/15/2007 ruling describing Chimeric Staff
Remember, you do not get any current status, just the text of the copied object.

Ponder, Merfolk Looter, Essence Scatter, Negate, Illusionary Servant and Divination are all common. Sure, there are things like Convincing Mirage and Jump too, but there are bad cards in every colour.
As for Clone, it kills Progenitus. Progenitus should be killed. It can also copy your opponent's biggest bomb in limited, or just double the threat of your biggest creature. Solid and fun.

Back to business. Clone is a brilliant counter for legendary creatures and extremely powerful creatures. Anyone with some blue on their decks should consider having one or two. This card deserves nothing but a stunning 5/5.

Wow, an actual good blue card from M10. Where the hell are the rest?
Edit: I should have written my comment differently, what I meant was where are the good common blue cards, it is true that blue does have a lot of good uncommons and rares, perhaps I (or anyone) should re-ana-lyze the entire set to see if blue is really deserving of all its recent criticism or not.
