This guy is in a pretty tight bromance with Primeval Titan.

It can get very irritating in landfall decks and just gets more powerful when playing doubling season producing double the amount of creatures

who remembers Giant Warthog? apparently a little more green commitment and a shinier symbol buys you +1/+1 and the power to spawn some big babies

Garruk's Packleader + Rampaging Baloths = Draw a card and get a 4/4 for every land you play.

A nice card, and its ability care how many lands you get a turn, 1 or 10, you get a beast, or you get a couple beasts, where as, if you use your land fetches earlier, to help you get this out early, its ability is still useful, where as most landfalls need multiple lands to be devistating, woodcrasher is an 8/8 trampler with 1 land, a 12/12 with 2, a rampaging baloth is a 6/6 trampler with no lands, a 6/6 trampler with a 4/4 buddy (total 10/10) with 1 land, and he is a 6/6 trampler with 2 4/4 buddies (14/14 total) with 2 lands

a solid 6/6 with free 4/4 if you play lands, there may be better ones for an exclusive landfall deck, one that after the 6th land is down, the deck is still trying to drop 2 or 3 more lands a turn, but this guy is good in any green deck, and nice in a landfall

this would be overpowered if it weren't vulnerable to almost all types of common removal, save for damage

I <3 this card, yay green, I get an awesome creature who can make 4/4 tokens for me. I'm a fan of token swarm creation, and big creatures, and the baloth has both! Add in a beastmasters ascension, and you got yourself some new scary 9/9 baloth tokens.

The major downside of this card is actually the inherent way landfall works, in that you aren't always likely to draw a land every turn, so it's very inconsistent. Some games you will play your rampaging baloths and get no lands for 4 turns afterwards. It's true you can play with cards like khalni heart expedition, or rampant growth, but then your replacing other cards to make that happen. It's definitely worth the gamble however if you can follow up by enchanting one of the tokens or equipping it, or garruk wildspeakers ultimate over run ability.

I think it's well-balanced. It's a shame that they disposed of landfall in RotE, though.

"You should not be able to win with a creature with less than 8 toughness before you can normally hardcast it."

This is simply your unsubstantiated opinion. Care to explain why this would make the game better?

"f*cking mythics are ruining magic."

How, exactly? Decent Pauper decks goldfish by turn six, or sooner.

"They are just too impatient! They want to win by turn 6, even in casual, so they can go fart around on facebook and poke eachother."

Ad hominem remarks don't help substantiate your argument.
