ugh, if he had one more power and two more toughness and lifelink and deathtouch and was in a much more popular tribal category he miiight be playable.

Kelinore Bat. Why the name change after only a year?

Edit : @chinkeeyong, I'm just wondering why they didn't reprint Feral Shadow, Dusk Imp, or Moaning Spirit. They had just printed a variation of the three with a new name, then did it again, less then a year later. I just feel like they are taking old cards, reprinting them with new names and calling them new cards. I feel sort of cheated. Imagine if they did this with Lightning Bolt. Can you imagine having 20 Lightning Bolts in one deck? Because as of right now I can have 20 common 2/1 fliers for 2Black with no other abilities in a single deck.

I tried this out in an aggresive mono-black deck, and trust me, he isn't worth it. Every time this gets out, i'm always thinking "man, why did i have to get you and not some other creature? you're the last one i need right now. even dread drone is better than this". some may find him useful, but i don't think he's worth your time at all.

I feel disgustingly nerdy after saying that. Like whenever I say "I transmute my brainspoil." I take a second to appreciate the ridiculousness of what I just said.

This card could not be vanilla, especially if Kelinore Bats is the same damn thing!

Would've been great for a Bloodthirst effect considering the "Gloomhunter" aspect, a card/player was dealt damage and you drop this gloom hunting thing and it's got counters.

Possibly another effect like, remove a counter and this creature gains lifelink or deals blah blah damage to target creature.


THIS CARD HURTS ME.
