This card CANNOT bring Darksteel Colossus back, seeing as Mr. Darksteel is shuffled into your library if it were to end up in a graveyard. This takes place before you can open the vaults.

I was overruled by a Judge in the last FNM when I said that auras couldn't enchant something else coming into play with Open the Vaults.
Needless to say my opponent putting +10+10 trample and annihilator 2 on one of those creatures totally sealed the round for him.
Totally ***ed off atm. Srsly, judges freaking hate me.

Which leads me to a common misconception about this card.
You DO NOT choose the order that the cards come into play. You DO choose the order that "when this comes into play...." effects go onto the stack.
Also be weary. If your opponent asks you "What order are you putting them on the stack?" remember to say them in reverse order to how you want them to resolve. Its a simple trick to totally mess you up. It may not matter, but if it does and you get it wrong you'll regret it. It's also unnerving as hell having a judge called on you cause you can't resolve a stack correctly.

Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything here... I like this card but I had to abandon the idea of bringing back a Darksteel Colossus. The Colossus never stays in a graveyard right? It gets shuffled back in the library instead no?

When the vaults are empty, everyone is rich.......except your opponents.

So, what if I have a Mycosynth Lattice out and repeatedly Traumatize/Tome Scour myself, and then play this after playing Bojuka Bog and exiling my opponent's graveyard?

But still...its not like even anyone who plays white is going to be chucking their own enchantments into their graveyard, and face it, artifact-destruction is a lot more common than enchantment destruction. And by your logic, they should make it white AND blue, since it ALSO raises artifacts. This card will be a lot more efficient in a blue deck, especially an Esper deck, not in white decks.
And, as SavageBrain said, more darksteel colossi are going to be raised with this thing than "Honor of the Pure"s.

Why is the door that big? The answer is Darksteel Colossus of course.
